The Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation, founded in 1980, is committed to preserving and promoting ranching heritage. Its vision is to inspire recognition of the importance of ranching – past, present and future – to Western Canada. Its focus is the management of The Bert Sheppard Stockmen’s Foundation Library and Archives at the Cochrane RancheHouse, located in Cochrane, AB.
The Library and Archives Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Bert Sheppard’s Library. The Library has an extensive collection of historic books, brands and artifacts. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding this collection while at the same time allowing the public access to appreciate these items. Primary duties include:
This position will be approximately 25 hours a week and does have flexibility. The wage for this position will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and hours.
